Wander through its six-hectare riverside estate where alpacas, goats, turtles and other friendly animals roam, and you can enjoy riverside dining at the charming café.  After a relaxed lunch set amidst nature’s beauty, we’ll head to the historic Beenleigh Artisan Distillery — Australia’s oldest registered working distillery. Located on the banks of the Albert River, this distillery has been crafting rum since 1884 and stands as a rare Queensland heritage site. On a guided tour, you’ll explore the copper pot still, historic fermenting vats and learn the art of sugar-cane-molasses rum production. After hearing the fascinating story of sugar, steam and spirit, you’ll enjoy a rum-tasting experience (for those 18+), discovering rich flavours distilled from Queensland sunshine. Finish the day with time to browse the visitor centre, pick up a souvenir and reflect on a journey where paddock-to-glass meets riverside refinement.
